This race designed intake makes big 5-15% power gains over the stock airbox!!! Why? The factory intake tube is too small and not smooth bent, it restricts the intake flow and causes turbulence with the intake charge before reaching the throttle body.
Replaces your factory airbox with a mandrel bent and ultra-light aluminum intake tube. Intended for use in dry riding conditions. K&N filter included!
Increases intake velocity for max power at high RPM's with a noticable increase in bottom end torque. Why? The stock airbox can impair airflow at high RPM while at low RPM the stock intake snorkel can collapse when you jump on the throttle. For that reason this intake really kicks up the throttle response and power at low-mid RPM.

This race intake is intended for dry riding conditions, and shaves off 2.6 lbs. from stock airbox. This intake with filter and hardware is only 1.2 lbs vs stock 3.8 lbs.
Intake tube starts with a mandrel bent 6061 T6 aluminum tubing; a welded bracket bolts to the left cross bracket mounting pad. The air inlet temp sensor mounts in stock fashion to the top of the new aluminum intake via a welded bracket.
Includes a bracket that will mount your stock crankcase vent box (attached at the side of airbox in stock form) use with optional K&N crancase breather 62-1330.
No additional fabrication necessary, this is a simple bolt on unit!!!
